Casa Navàs

Art Decó building designed by the prestigious architect Lluís Domenech i Montaner in 1908. Listed as a Cultural Property of National Interest, it is the only modernist house in Europe that retains its original inside. In it you can appreciate in detail the applied arts of the artists Gaspar Homar, Eusebi Arnau, Lluís Brú and Rigalt i Granell. It also highlights the perfect preservation of the old fabrics shop that occupies the ground floor of the house. Casa Navàs has five floors: a cellar, a basement, the shop and the two main floors of the building. Work is currently under way to rebuild the frontispiece and the tower that preside over the main facade and were destroyed during the Spanish Civil War.
